The University of Duhok (UoD) Center for Peace & Conflict Resolution Studies conducted the third workshop on the “Basic Alternatives to Violence Project” for three days, from the 9th to 11th August 2022 at the UoD Students Center. The workshop, which was attended by 18 UoD students from different backgrounds and departments, was facilitated by three AVP facilitators Duhok-Team. In this workshop, the participants have trained on new communication skills, self-expression ways, and the different methods of dealing with conflict situations.
The workshop is one of the activities of the project “Violence Reduction through Learning and Training for University of Duhok Students in Iraqi Kurdistan” supported by the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), and being implemented in with the collaboration of the Alternatives to Violence Project Duhok-Team (AVP).
