In the framework of the project “Violence reduction through learning and training”, supported by the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), the University of Duhok (UoD) Center for Peace & Conflict Resolution Studies, in collaboration with the Alternatives to Violence Project Duhok-Team (AVP), conducted the first workshop on the Advance level of "Alternatives to Violence Project”. The workshop conducted at the Cultural Chaldean Center on 23rd to 25th September 2022. The workshop, which attended by 16 UoD students from different backgrounds and departments, was facilitated by four of AVP facilitators(Vajeen Kawa ,Abdulsalam Mirza,Dilpak.M.Yosif, Omer Hussein}. In this workshop, the participants were trained on new communication skills and self expression ways as well as introduced to different methods of dealing with conflict situations.
