"Owning
to the important fact that “young people are the pillars of the future” and the
belief in the need to address and instruct them what is reflected on them from
planting to trust in them that they are the people to build a strong , advanced
scientific community and reduces the tension that arises when a student moved
from simple school stages to a wider university community, it was on the
Tuesday 12th June 2016,a brief activity was organized to receive the first
stage students in the Department of Chemistry by each of Dr. Zahra Ali Fattah,
Miss. Huda Ali Ibraheem and Miss. Heja Ibrahim Adil with the great support from
the head of the department Dr. Shireen Othman Ismael.This activity has
included the following events: the provision of each student with a simplified
map for the college of science and departments halls, parks and
halls. Additionally, a seminar has been given to introduce students to the
staff, registration, administration of college, and educating a student their
job that relating to university life and side the educational which might face
during the years of the study. Furthermore, this activity was accompanied by
pictures. In addition, the establishment welcomed ceremony to our students
which has brought enjoyments to them."
