As a part of the activities of the Water Supply Engineering, a field trip was organized for the fourth year Civil Engineering students to the Duhok Water Treatment Plant at the Khrabdem area. The purpose of the trip was to teach the students about the different processes of water purification and to provide them with more technical knowledge about the different facilities within the treatment chain. The trip was organized by Dr. Nashwan Shawkat and Mr. Aza Hani Shukri on the 18th of November 2021 and the group was received by the operation team at the treatment plant. The Water Supply Engineering course which is delivered to the fourth year Civil Engineering students during the first semester and focuses on drinking water treatment and distribution technologies.
