Workshop Titled (The Role of Scientific Research Centers at KRG Universities in Developing Scientific Research)

On Monday 10th June 2024, under the support of His Excellency KRG's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir), the presence and supervision of the Dean of the college of law Professor Dr. Aveen Khalid Abdulrehman, Research and Development Directorate at Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in cooperation with Legal and Political Research Center at UoD's College of Law have jointly organized and conducted a workshop titled (The Role of Scientific Research Centers at KRG Universities in Developing Scientific Research) at UoD's Cultural Center.

Welcoming speeches were presented by the representatives of Ministry of Higher Education, UoD Presidency, and College of Law. After that two sessions took place, which the First session concentrated on the opportunities for Research Centers to develop scientific research in Kurdistan, while the Second session focused on the obstacles facing research centers in Kurdistan Region. at the end of this activity a general discussion took place and number of recommendations were presented to strengthen the scientific research in Kurdistan Region.
