The University of Duhok (UOD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kurdistan Innovative Institute (KII) to foster scientific and innovative projects and promote industry advancement. The agreement, formalized on January 18, 2024, includes collaboration in technology, product development, and business, as well as knowledge exchange and participation in conferences and international projects. UOD and KII will provide advice and expertise as required.
Located in Erbil, Kurdistan Innovative Institute is a non-profit public foundation that actively promotes innovation and product development, particularly among the youth in Kurdistan and Iraq. The institute provides mentorship, economic support, engineering product development, and prototyping assistance to encourage individuals to transform their ideas into viable products and businesses.
