For the first time in Iraq and Kurdistan Region, Dr. Khalaf Hussein from the College of Medicine in the University of Duhok becomes the only member from Iraq in the American Academy of Pediatrics. This academy, which is considered the most prominent academy in the world in the field of children’s health and medical care, has sixty-seven thousand members. Dr. Hussein obtained this distinguished membership following long and well-renowned 20 years as a pediatrician.
