On October 23, 2022, members of the Peacebuilding Network Groups implemented a social cohesion initiative titled "Promoting Peaceful Coexistence" at the Youth and Sports Center in Summel District, an area known for its religious and social diversity. The initiative included holding a seminar followed by a discussion session and a number of activities related to peaceful coexistence. The initiative was facilitated by six members of the Peacebuilding groups, with participation of 23 youth from different religious and social backgrounds. In this initiative, the participants shared their views and stories on the experiences of peaceful coexistence in the area, expressed their perceptions of the future of peaceful coexistence, and discussed the strengths and weaknesses in promoting peaceful coexistence.

The initiative is one of the activities of the Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies and implemented in cooperation with the Lutheran World Federation with the support from ACT.
