On 29/9/2022 at the Students Center in the University of Duhok, the Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies conducted the first workshop on “Community Initiative Planning Training”, which was attended by 20 students and youths from different backgrounds (faith, ethnicity, gender), facilitated by Mr. Khidher Domle. The participants have been trained on the following subjects: the concept of community initiative, practical planning for community initiative, defining outcomes and outputs of the initiatives, initiative output evaluation, challenges and reporting”

It’s worth mentioning that, the participants of this workshop will design and implement a number of Community initiatives regarding Social Cohesion.

The workshop is one of the center activities in the “Building Inclusive Communities in Iraq-Rebuilding Trust” project. Which is being implemented with funds from the Church of Sweden, and in partnership with Lutheran World Federation-LWF Iraq and Baghdad Women Association.
