Assist Prof. Dr. ( Nawzat Abu Zaid Issa ) presented a Seminar related to the plan of MHE-KRG's regarding knowledge, skills, and competencies for study programs.

The objective of the seminar was to give instructions on the aforementioned topic to teaching staff at the College of Veterinary Medicine to prepare the required data for the MHE's study program committee.

Observations:

Disseminating the idea faced a challenge among the attendees, as the workshops began at the University of Dohuk first, and then work on the plan continues with other universities.

discussions were about:

• Identifying the topics, what skill the topic is going to develop? impact of the skill on Vet medicine in particular or community in general .
• Types of assessments staff should achieve.
• Identifying what knowledge is going with the market need?
• Coordinators to be identified to collect data.

In case the skill or knowledge is not serving the market need, then what is the next? What step will be the next to modify the courses and the path of the educational process?
