On October 10, 2023, the College of City and Regional Planning hosted an engaging seminar on "Institutional Learning Goals and Quality Assurance," featuring Professor Dr. Nazar Numan, a Provost Emeritus at the American University of Kurdistan.
During the seminar, Professor Numan discussed effective strategies for higher education institutions to enhance the overall quality of education and teaching methods within universities. He emphasized the significance of Quality Assurance and how each college and department can play a pivotal role in improving their educational standards and producing graduates who can contribute effectively to the industry. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of student-centered teaching methods over traditional teacher-centered approaches.
