The visit to Münster, known for its bicycle culture and sustainability, included a discussion on bicycle mobility and transport policies led by ADFC Münster, an exploration of the transformation of Münster's old harbor area into a model of sustainable urban development, and a look at the reconstruction of the historic city center.

Also in Dortmund, the students examined the multicultural low-income area of Nordstadt and the Lake Phoenix Recreation and housing development, situated on a former industrial site. Throughout the day, they discussed the unique challenges, disparities, and lifestyles within these districts, and reviewed proposed solutions and governmental plans.
