Justification:

Manual muscle testing is an examination method that allows you to determine the degree of muscle weakness resulting from diseases, injuries and other injuries.

Manual muscle testing allows you to determine the maximum force that a muscle or group of muscles is capable of. This test is best done with the patient in the prone or supine position, but sitting or standing is also possible. MMT helps to identify damaged muscle and determine if there is neurological damage due to injury, aging, or another factor.

Muscule Testing is a method of gathering accurate biofeedback on the bodys Physiological and Psychological state by stimulating the muscular system. Muscle Testing is an elegant way to retrieve the knowledge imbedded into the cellular memory of the muscular system.

This technique is increasingly used in the sport, diagnosis of certain diseases in combination with other methods of studying the body. Thanks to MMT, it is possible to obtain not only information about the body with high reliability, but also to choose the optimal treatment.

Manule mscule testing is a simple test that can be conducted to identify muscule weakening quickly.

MMT is used:

Þ to determine the root cause of damage to the musculoskeletal system;

Þ to draw up an optimal massage scheme with the designation of the most effective zones of influence;

Þ to develop an effective algorithm for the use of manual therapy and reflexology;

Þ for local treatment with external agents (selection and dosage of ointments, rubbing, the use of cooling or warming gels);

Þ to restore sports form after illness and injury;

Þ to determine the reserve capacity of the body.

Objectivs:

Þ Explain how muscle groups work together while performing physical movements.

Þ Learn about the latest methods used in the muscle testing.

Þ Introducing simple and financially inexpensive methods for MMT in the curricula and work of college laboratories.

Þ Comparison between the results of muscle electromyography and MMT

Þ Urging deeper studies in the field of muscle biomechanics.
