The Committee for the Supervision and Management of Covid 19 Pandemic in the University of Duhok conducted a meeting for the purpose of outlining and framing required regulations to deal with the ongoing pandemic and to encourage students to receive Covid vaccination.

This committee involves teachers from the College of Medicine, College of Administration and Economics, and the Duhok Directorate General Health. In order to acquire adequate data about vaccination rates in the UoD, a google form has been generated to register students who have received their vaccination as well as those who have not. Based on the results, more influential mechanisms and strategies are to be developed to deal more effectively with students’ vaccination.

In the meeting, the importance of receiving Covid vaccination and supporting all UoD colleges to expedite the process and to raise awareness about vaccination was confirmed.
