Training on strengthening social cohesion

A group of UoD students, who participated in the “Building Youth Capacity to Engage Meaningfully in Social Cohesion Initiatives”, and in order deliver the experience acquired by virtue of the project to other UoD students, have conducted a one-day workshop on knowledge of the current context of social cohesion, the importance and the challenges of social cohesion, and how to overcome those challenges.

The workshop was conducted at the Cultural Center at the UoD on the 28/03/2021. The participants were divided into two groups and two students facilitated the training with supervision from a CPCRS trainer. The workshop attended by 38 students (21 females and 17 males) from different UoD colleges and department.

Worth mentioning that conducting of this workshop was supported by the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).
