With the Strengthened inclusive community structures to better manage conflict dynamics, support the cohesiveness of society, and build sustainable peace from the bottom up, the center for peace and conflict resolution studies (CPCRS) has signed a cooperation agreement, on 15th of September 2020, with the Lutheran World Federation Iraq (LWF-Iraq). According to this agreement, CPCRS will cooperate with LWF-Iraq, Baghdad Women’s Association (BWA) and Alternatives to Violence (AVP) movement in designing and implementing a series of activates that target community members and a wider society in Duhok and Sumel districts. The overall objective of the project is to enable individuals and communities to live safe, dignified, and empowered lives, free from all forms of discrimination, abuse, and exploitation.

In the framework of this project, CPCRS will design and implement the following activities:

1-  Three Community Conflict Management Trainings

2-  Conducting a training on Social Media Advocacy;

3-  Conducting a research on the role of youth in peacebuilding in Dohuk.
