College of Education - Akre

On Tuesday April 26, 2022, the delegation of the College of Education - Akre, under the supervision of Mr. (Dr. Maknoon Mohammed Taher), the assistant dean of the college, a number of heads of scientific departments and the director of the administration in the college attended a seminar on the proposal and project to create the University of Akre (Aqrah).

It is worth noting that a special committee was formed from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to create (University of Akre (Aqrah)). In the presence of the Governor of Dohuk and the Mayors of Akre and Bardarash, a number of members of the Kurdistan Parliament and the Dohuk Provincial Council, local officials and directors of government institutions, and relevant authorities, the committee presented a special seminar on the proposal and project to create the University of Akre (Aqrah), in the conference hall of the Technical Institute of Akre. The seminar highlighted the continuation and progress of the project to develop the University of Akre (Aqrah) at length. It is the optimism and hope of all parties that Akre will be the owner of modern and advanced university within a short period.
