College of City and Regional Planning

A delegation from the University of Duhok consisting of the Dean of the College of Spatial Planning, Dr. Dilshad Haleem, and the head of the ذepartment of Spatial planning, Dr. Basheer Saeed, and the representative of TU Dortmund University, Dr. Hasan Sinemillioglu, participated in a workshop in TU Dortmund organized by the SPRING network for 4 days from the 8^th to 12^th of November 2021. SPRING network is specialized in M.Sc. studies in the Spatial planning field. The international SPRING university network is currently composed of six partnering universities: TU Dortmund University (Germany), Ardhi University in Dar es Salam (Tanzania), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi (Ghana), University of The Philippines in Manila (Philippines), Universidad Austral de Chile in Valdivia (Chile) and Universidad Federal do ABC in São Paulo (Brazil)
The University of Duhok (Kurdistan Region-Iraq) became an observing member in 2019, and it Seeks to be an active member of the SPRING network by 2023.
