    • Currently, I am working on some projects regarding the environmental issues in Kurdistan
    • I am interested in the usage of sequence stratigraphic, well-logging and petrophysical approaches for hydrocarbon reservoir characterization and formation evaluation.
    • Diagenesis, particularly of carbonates, and distinguishing primary from secondary (alteration) features.
    • Effect of rock texture (facies and diagenetic alteration) in carbonate reservoir quality.
    • Application of clastic and carbonate sedimentology in the exploration for, and the exploitation of, hydrocarbon reservoirs.
    • Deep marine sedimentation and petroleum geology of deep water systems.
