ِA workshop entitled was held by the college of pharmacy and in collaboration with AstraZeneca pharmaceutical company

On Wednesday, March 7th, 2018, a workshop entitled (Digestive Disease Day) was held and hosted by the college of pharmacy and in collaboration with AstraZeneca pharmaceutical company in Rixos hotel/Erbil hall.The Dean of the College of Pharmacy Assoc.Prof. Dr. Muayad A. Merza thankfully delivered a speech through which he welcomed the guests and stressed on the importance of such events to the college of pharmacy. The workshop involved two interval parts, and four important topics. The first part of the topics was "Characteristics of CHB patients related liver cirrhosis in Azadi teaching hospital" which was presented by Dr. Muayad Aghali Merza (The specialist of Infectious disease). Then after that, Dr. Ali AbdulGhani Ramadhan (Gastroenterologist) presented "Role of Nexium IV in UGIB" followed by a scientific discussion of the speakers and participants under the supervision of the chairman Dr. Jamal Basheer (MRCP, FRCP, Assoc. Prof.of Internal Medicine). The second part of the workshop topics was "Diet in peptic ulcer disease" that was presented by Dr. Hishyar Mohammed Salih (Pharmacologist) and finally, a topic on "Novel Cholecystokinin Receptor Antagonists" was presented by Dr. Julian Ismail Benyamen (Pharmacist). The workshop was successfully ended by a scientific discussion of the speakers and participants under the supervision of the chairman Prof. Dr. Daniele Suzete Persike(Pharmacologist).
