Under the auspice of the Presidency office of the UoD, and Head of Scientific Promotion Committee at UoD, Prof. "Dr. Nashwan Shukri Abdullah", on 26th, May 2021, a one-day online workshop has been organized and chaired by Assist. Prof. “Dr. Suad Yousif Alkass”, Head of the Scientific Promotion Committee of Medical specialities with the assistance of “Dr. Mahde Saleh Abdulrahman Assafi” and “Dr. Massoud Mohammed Amin”, under the title of: “Instructions of Scientific Promotion” in order to shed lights on the last updated instructions issued by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/ KRG, on 13^th, February 2021with the attached letter in March 17^th for scientific promotion process.

It is worthy to mention that more than 300 academic teaching staff attended the session. Furthermore, the session lasted for three hours and during that event, new instructions including the documents and the number of published researches required to achieve the promotion have been clarified.  Finally, the members of the workshop along with Dr Nashwan Shukri thankfully answered all the queries raised by the attendees and then urged them to conduct and publish their scientific researches in international periodicals so as to get scientifically promoted, and looking forward getting prosperous ranks at first level among Iraqi universities.
