In November 21st, 2022, and at 11:30 am, Medicinal Chimestry department has conducted a symposium entitled: "Award winning works of scientific competition among iraqi students"sponsored by the dean of the college, assist prof., Dr Suzan Rasoul, to honor the winning students in the first scientific Olympiad for Iraqi university students. Besides of the noticeable attendance of the dean, a good number consisting of : the teaching staff of the college, employees inaddition to a large number of the students of college of Pharmacy with some other attendees from other colleges attended the symposium. Then, Prof Dr Suad Al Kass, the head of the department delivered a welcoming speech to the attendees and gave a brief overview about the importance of the event referring to the distinguished role of the students in achieving their aim.Then after that, each awarded participant student in the competition presented a brief introductory for 10 min about his/her achievement in the competition. Furthermore,the dean personally has awarded the winning students with a shield entailed the logo of the college and their names written on it for each, and she referred to the distinguished role of the students for this achievement which contributes to raising the reputation of the College of Pharmacy and the University of Duhok. Finally, the dean thanked and appreciated the role of organizers of this symposium to advance science and the name of the college forward.
