On 10th of May, 2016, a Joint seminar was held at the Seminar Hall in Presidency of Duhok Polytechnic University by Duhok Directorate General of Health (DGoH), Duhok University-College of Nursing (UOD), Sassari University-AISPO Team, and Duhok Polytechnic University (DPU).
In accordance to
the Memorandum of Understanding signed in June 18th
2016 between Sassari University, DGoH and DPU, and College of
Nursing (UoD) the seminar attempted to concentrate the role of the project partners
to ““Support Duhok Governorate Health Care System: enhancing training
capabilities to deliver quality and effective nursing care”. The agenda of the
seminar was as following:
Dr. Zeerak Azizkhan Ahmed, Vice President for Scientific Affairs & International Relations of DPU, stated his thanks to address the participants and to open the seminar. In addition, Dr. Nezar Ismet Taib, Duhok Director General of Health, and Dr. Farida Fariq, the Dean of College of Nursing (UoD), delivered their opening statement respectively.
A number of persons presented their points in the seminar. They were; Dr. Hushyar Musa Sulaiman , Director of Planning Directorate – DGoH who presented the expected objectives and results of the Memorandum of Understanding. In addition, Mr. Sardar Abdulla Issa form DPU illustrated the nursing Curriculum of DPU and, Mr. Deldar Morad Abdulah form College of Nusing (UoD), pointed out the Curriculum of Nursing of UoD. At the end, Dr. Subhi Rafeeq Muhammed form DPU spoke about the aspects of E-Leaning and its significant uses in the field of higher education. Lastly, Dr Zeerak, presented the closed the seminar and thanked all the participants.
