Objectives: Virtual training of pediatricians became the predominant form of education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Significant variability in the quality of virtual presentations exists within this format. The {IQ-PEACE (Iraqi Pediatricians Across the Continents Education) group- Ramadhan Wave} focused on best practices in the delivery as well as the content of virtual education to inform and engage pediatricians in many countries to improve care for children with disabilities.

Methods: {IQ-PEACE (Iraqi Pediatricians Across the Continents Education) group- Ramadhan Wave} included implementing a series of webinars on topics such as Developmental Screening, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Brain Injury in Newborns and Infants, and Safeguarding Children, and managing common co-occurring conditions such as food allergy, constipation, and seizures. Webinars were designed with attention toward the unique capability and challenge of the virtual

presentation, including speaker credibility and communication skill; camera, microphone, visual aids and screen sharing technique; and pediatricians interaction and engagement. The webinar series was advertised widely to pediatricians through traditional channels as well as newer platforms such as Telegram and WhatsApp.

Results: A total of 28 webinars were held between April and July 2021. Average daily attendance measured 150-160 pediatricians, with a total of 4500 participants attending from 31 countries. Most attendees came from low to middle income countries, including Iraq, Syria, Iran, Jordan, Turkey, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, and Yemen.

Conclusions: Virtual education with a focus on important content and high-quality resentation technique can engage pediatricians globally to improve care for children with disabilities.
