  • I am intrested in doing research on issues in teaching transtion nowadays at university level.

  • I hold MA degree in English Language and Linguistics. I got my MA degree in 2011. My MA thesis was entitled "A Contrastive Study of Compliments in English and Kurdish". I have started teaching in 2012. Since then, I taught different subjects in the Department of English. I taught Grammar, Comprehension, Conversation and Translation. I also taught General English for two years in Shekhan Technical Institute, Department of Business Management and one year at Cihan University, Department of Banking and Finance. I worked as a coordinator in the Department of English/ Evening Classes for two years and now I am working as the coordinator of the Department of English/ Morning Classes.

  • • I participated in a three-week course on teacher training and curriculum development, which was held at the College of Arts and Letters at Michigan State University in the USA in 2012.
    • I attended the TESOL International Convention & English Language which was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 28-31 March, 2012.
    • I have successfully completed the Garnet Education Induction Training Course for ' Foundation English for University Students' which was held at the University of Duhok, Training & Development Centre between September 28 and October 24, 2013.
    • I took an online course in TESOL and have successfully finished three courses of Teach English Now, online courses authorized by Arizona State University and offered through Coursera.
