Title of the Seminar: Structural System of tall building: Case study in 10,20 and 30 floors

Presenter: Mr. Jeegir Zeki Ahmed

Objectives:

The purpose of this seminar is to compare between three structural systems which are: Rigid frame system, Dual system, and shear wall system, for the purpose of determining which system is the most economical system for a 10 floor, 20 floor, and 30 floor buildings. This comparison is based on the total amount of concrete and reinforcement that will be required by the sections of the structure of each system, these amounts depend upon the compressive strength of concrete and section dimensions of each of the columns, beams, slabs, and shear walls.
