In its periodical meeting today, 20/1/2022, the Board of the University of Duhok that discussed and proposed a number of mechanisms and action as part of the effort to prevent the spread of Covid 19 within the UoD.
It was decided by the University Board that starting from the 23rd of January 2022, UoD employers, academic staff and students will be not be allowed to enter the University campus and the study halls without wearing a protecting mask and applying all safety measures.
This transmission and protective measure follows a previous UoD Board decision which asserts the significance of vaccination for academic staff as well as students and prohibits their admission into the UoD without a vaccination record card. Covid 19 medical exempts from vaccination will be required to do PCR test and provide a report from the Covid 19 Prevention Higher Committee in the University of Duhok.
It is worth mentioning that due to the importance and urgency of the prevention of the spread of Covid 19, the UoD Board had to hold a meeting despite the ongoing break.
