University of Duhok takes part in the Projects of the British Council in Iraq

In his meeting with a delegation from the British Council in Iraq including Mr. Nashwan Mohammed and Mr. Akrem Izzuddin Daniel on the 13th of October 2021, Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, President of the University of Duhok called upon the council to be lend a helping hand to the University of Duhok in such directions as teacher training and development and the improvement and modernization of the study curriculums. He also urged the council to assist the College of Basic Education through the refinement of teaching and educational methods and so that better prepared teachers are produced to work in the education sector.

In the meeting, the delegation indicated that their visit to the University of Duhok as an exemplary university is part of a comprehensive project that it is conducting in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region aiming at the improvement of higher education and the internationalization of the University of Duhok and the betterment of its different scientific departments through the renovation of its study curriculums to which Dr. Atrushi expressed the readiness of the University of Duhok to offer its utmost support.
