A graduation ceremony was held for the participants of the pedagogy course on 29/1/2020 at the Cultural and Social Center at Duhok University. The Advisor of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Amang Saeed, mentioned that the pedagogy course supports the Ministry of Higher Education and universities in Duhok region.

There were 33 members from all universities and institutes in Duhok who participated in this course and were trained by 13 teachers. The teachers took a training course in Finland according to the Ministry of Higher Education program known as HAMK.

The President of Duhok University, Dr. MuslihDuhoki, expressed his joy at the graduation ceremony of the first participants of the pedagogy course held at Duhok University. He went on to point out that the accomplishment of this course is one of the steps of the Ministry of Higher Education from Kurdistan Regional Government which gives importance to improvement and development so that teachers from Kurdistan region can benefit from the worldwide improvements madein academic and scientific fields. Dr. Muslih continued saying that he thanks the Ministry of Higher education for taking these steps and hope that there is more encouragement and support for these steps in the future. He also gave thanks to the teachers and participants of this pedagogy course for taking this course and its subjects seriously and benefitting from them.

Furthermore, Dr. Muslih went on saying that every university has its own plans and strategies for taking steps towards the future and improvement. He also pointed out that at, Duhok University, teacher improvement is very important, and therefore, means are provided to eliminate any obstacles in their way.

A video of the pedagogy course was shown and then a panel was held to take the participants ideas on how to apply to the course. Afterwards certificates were given to the participants of the pedagogy course.

It is worth mentioning that the advisor of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Amang Saeed, the General Director of the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Dawood Atroshi, the President of Duhok University, Dr. MuslihDuhoki, the President of Zakho University, Dr. LazgeenAbdi, the President of Nawroz University, Dr. IzzatFendi, the Vice President of Polytechnic University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. ZirakAzizkhan, the Vice President of Duhok University for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, Dr. LuqmanHadi Hassan, and other presidents and vice presidents of other universities were present.
