As a part of his strategy to strengthen the international relations with the well-known universities and centers of excellence, Prof. Mosleh Duhoky the President of the University of Duhok made a visit to the University of Glasgow and met with Principle and the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli in his office. The two parties discuss different academic issues of common interest. They agreed on signing agreement between the two institutes for future collaboration.
Prof. Duhoky suggested to start the collaboration by tackling different academic issues that are important to the University of Duhok, like student exchange, electronic library, joint research, joint PhD supervision. Also the president stressed on the participation of the different international programs that are funded from the European Union.
It is worth mentioning that the University of Glasgow is one of the most prominent university in the United Kingdom, its age is more than 400 years.
