The name of the university has been officialy changed since Feb. 1st, 2009 to: University of Duhok
The University of Duhok (UoD), established on October 31st, 1992 with two colleges and 149 students, has developed to include 13 colleges. It has more than 10000 undergraduate students and about 500 graduate students in different specializations.
