This center comprises of a series of books and discs presented to the Presidency of the University of Duhok by the Civil Affairs Unit in the U.S. This centre was established in 2005 in the College of Law and Politics at the University of Duhok. It contains more than1100 books written in English and arranged in scientific classification. These electronic books and disks introduce the American society in all its aspects; political, social, economical, cultural, literature, science and language.
The centre is regarded as a library where students and staff can find books of different specializations and take advantage of what exists in the center. The centre aims to provide the reader with as much as possible of different sciences; social, economic, language, cultural, political, literary and other sciences through the books and disks available.
